On this day we had a complete theory day and watched a couple of video's on the equipment in a kitchen and we noticed that in our own kitchen there are things that need to be checked and added in the kitchen for e.g. the fire signage that includes exit signs, first aid signs, etc. Then the first aid box is never fully stocked up in case of emergencies. So yesterday we decided to make up our very own chef's kit to fit  a chef's safety in a kitchen for the pasic problems in the kitchen such as light cuts and scrapes, various burns.
I was surprises about the cutting boards in the other kitchens around the world since i"m use to Sondela's logic system .I have to say it makes sense< for e.g. If you use a red board for poultry then you need to make sure that that board is only used for poultry.
